Exciting opportunity with the GFC Community Trust has become available

Gillingham Football Club Community Trust is currently looking to recruit a Support Services Manager to join the Head Office team within the organisation.

The successful applicant will assist with a variety of jobs and tasks, in order to help with the continued growth of the Community Trust.  Working closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team to aid with the day to day smooth running of the charity and to increase our involvement within the local area and further afield.

Applicants need to be hardworking, flexible, outgoing and self-driven with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality performance. Applicants should also be reliable, determined, and keen for the opportunity of a new challenge. 

This is a full-time position, of 37 hours per week and hours can be flexible between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.  The flexibility to work on Saturdays for home match days when required is also expected.

Salary would be subject to qualifications and experience, but in the region of £20,000 per annum.

Key skills and experience required;

• Experience with managing content of websites and social media platforms
• Excellent customer service experience
• Experience of managing staff, including staff appraisals and target setting
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues
• Enhanced FA DBS, or willingness to complete
• Own transport preferable
• A flexible approach
