Vote for your February Goal of the Month
There were some fantastic strikes during February, and we have picked four nominees for our Goal of the Month competition. Which was your favourite?
Here are this month’s nominees:
#GILLSGOTM1: Josh Wright scored the first of his four goals in February against Bradford City at the start of the month, beating goalkeeper Colin Doyle with an unstoppable volley from Ryan Jackson's long throw.
#GILLSGOTM2: Defender Deji Oshilaja added his second goal in as many games against the Bantams, coolly striking on the half-volley to equalise and make sure the Gills left West Yorkshire with a deserved point.
#GILLSGOTM3: Youth prospect Sam Lawford scored his team's third goal in a thrilling contest against Southend United's under-18s on February 3, as the Gills went on to win 4-3 at Beechings Cross.
#GILLSGOTM4: With the Gills 1-0 down against the run of play in the Sky Bet League One fixture versus AFC Wimbledon, Bradley Dack took matters into his own hands to get his team back into the game. The attacker beat two Wombles defenders on the right, before sliding the ball under goalkeeper James Shea to equalise just two minutes after going behind.
