Promising youngster Charlie Webster named in Capital One Cup squad
Good afternoon. Deon Burton has not received international clearance to play tomorrow so will not be able to feature in the squad. Joe Martin’s girlfriend has just had a little boy but Joe needs to spend more time at home to make sure everything is ok before returning to training.
The squad for Bristol City is: Charlie Allen, Adam Birchall, Bradley Dack, Callum Davies, Connor Essam, Jack Evans, Matt Fish, Tom Flanagan, Tommy Forecast, Andy Frampton, Danny Jackman, Danny Kedwell, Charlie Lee, Lewis Montrose, Stuart Nelson, Ben Strevens, Charlie Webster, Chris Whelpdale.
I have added 16 year-old Charlie Webster to the travelling squad. This boy has only just left school but is Lightening Bolt quick from what I have seen of him playing for the youth team against the first team two weeks ago.
Jack Payne has been under the weather and he will be out for another ten days to two weeks. We will not name the team until tomorrow night at 6.30pm
