SAMUEL TO STAY WITH GILLS UNTIL END OF SEASON

1 February 2016

On loan striker to remain at Priestfield until the end of the 2015/16 season

Gillingham FC have agreed a deal to keep Dominic Samuel on loan for the rest of the season from Championship side Reading.

The striker initially joined the club in mid-November and has so far scored five goals in 13 appearances, extending his deal in the process.

However the player will now remain at MEMS Priestfield Stadium until May 8, with an option to stay with the club should they make the Play-Offs.

Manager Justin Edinburgh said: "This is great news for everybody at the club, Dominic has scored some important goals for us and we were always keen to secure his services for longer if the opportunity came up.

"We have now concluded the deal and we look forward to having him on board for the remainder of the season."
