Gillingham have captured the signing of winger Elliott List on a one year contract
Gillingham have signed midfielder Elliott List on a one year pro deal.The winger, who can also play through the middle and up front, was released by Crystal Palace earlier in the season and featured in a number of development games towards the end of the 2014/15 campaign.
During which time he has impressed the club's management staff and signed his deal on Wednesday, which will take effect as of July 1.
He said: "I'm pleased to have signed for the club, I've enjoyed my time here and I'm looking forward to next season already."
Manager Justin Edinburgh added: “He’s someone who can change a game and without comparing he’s a bit like Jermaine McGlashan.
"He’s exciting who likes to take people on, has a lot of pace and has had a good upbringing at Crystal Palace and I felt he could bring something different to the squad.
“His early couple of months will be in and around the development squad but he has an opportunity to make an impact and progress very nicely.
“In Patto and Darren Hare they are overseeing that development and we were made aware through those guys, he played in a few development games and impressed us all and I’m sure he can continue to develop here."
