Gills handed an away tie against Colchester in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy
Gillingham have been drawn away against Colchester United in the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.Peter Taylor’s side defeated Stevenage 1-0 in the first round last Tuesday evening at the Lamex Stadium, and they will now progress to take on fellow League One side Colchester who recently parted company with Manager Joe Dunne.
The fixture will take place the week commencing October 6 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, with a confirmed date to follow in due course along with ticket information.
