Emmanuel Osadebe (calf) and Aaron Morris (hamstring) remain unavailable.

The Posh could have Michael Smith (back) and Kgosi Ntlhe (toe) back in their match squad following short injuries layoffs but Gabriel Zakuani is suspended.

Tobi Adebayo-Rowling will also be in contention after recovering from a groin problem.

Manager Comments:

Dave Robertson – “We are going into the game in a positive frame of mind, the players are in a good place and we are looking forward to what I am sure will be an entertaining game.”

Justin Edinburgh – “It’s a game we look forward to, we got a fantastic result there last season and we’ll be looking to replicate that.

“They probably haven’t had the start they would have liked so they’ll be a wounded animal but so are we, we have tasted our first defeat.”

Previous Meetings:

The Gills did the double over Peterborough last season – the Kent club, then under the management of Peter Taylor, secured an impressive 2-1 win at Priestfield before Justin Edinburgh achieved victory in his first game as Manager with a win by the same score at London Road in February.

In total the two teams have met on 42 occasions, the Posh edge the head to head statistics with 13 wins to 12. The other 17 games have been a draw.

Peterborough Win – 13/10
Draw – 12/5
Gills Win – 2/1
