Gillingham Ladies eased into round three of the Kent Cup after a comprehensive victory over Castle Colts this afternoon.
The Gills front two were once again impressive and to much to handle with Ashlee Hincks scoring seven and Natalie Crinean hit a hat trick.
The rest of the Gills goals came from Vicky Ashton-Jones and the hard working Deanna Cooper who got a goal that her play deserved.
Manager Ian Varley made one chance to the side that beat MK Dons with Rachel Ahern coming in for Danni Farmer.
The Gills were under pressure from the off when Castle Colts came at them for the opening couple of minutes, however it wasn't long before the Gills took the game by the scruff of the neck.
As early as the second minute the Castle Colts goalkeeper knew she was in for a busy afternoon when Ashlee Hincks played in Jodie Mugford, and she hit her shot just over the bar.
The Gills then had a number of other good chances to score but Ashlee Hincks, Natalie Crinean and Jodie Mugford all spurned efforts before the Gills did take the lead.
The first goal came in the 16th minute when Deanna Cooper threaded a ball through to Ashlee Hincks, she then beat a defender before firing in from twenty yards.
Less than five minutes later and it was 2-0 this time the impressive Rachel Ahern picked out Hincks with a pass that split the centre halves. She then used her pace to burst through and smash home her second goal of the game.
Four minutes later and Ashlee Hincks scored her hat trick inside half an hour and the Gills were well on their way to round three.
Again the defence were split in half by a pin point ball from Jodie Mugford and Hincks had all the time in the world to take a touch and slot home comfortably.
Natalie Crinean got in on the act on the half hour mark as Ashlee Hincks turned provider finding Crinean just outside the area. She took the ball into the area past a defender and calmly slotted into the bottom corner.
A minute later and Hincks was scoring her fourth and the Gills fifth, this time Natalie Crinean returned the favour playing in her strike partner to score an easy goal.
There was no let up in the attacking play from the Gills and in the 35th minute Natalie Crinean chased down a lost cause, kept the ball in and cut into the area. Her cross found Vicky Ashton-Jones at the back post and she tapped home past the keeper.
Five minutes before half time and Nat Crinean got her second goal of the game thanks to good work in midfield by Rachel Ahern, all Crinean had to do was slot home to make it 7-0.
On the stroke of half time Ashlee Hincks bagged her fifth goal of the game as the Gills went in 8-0 up, after the Gills dominated the midfield.
Half Time 0-8

The Gills carried on in the same vein as the second half began with Ashlee Hincks completing her double hat trick.
The Gills star striker picked up the ball on the half way line and with a short burst of pace rode a couple of challenges and slotted home with ease.
Four minutes later and Deanna Cooper was slotting home from close range after superb work up front by Natalie Crinean.
It was soon 11-0 when Natalie Crinean bagged her hat trick, hr strength was too much for the centre halves of Castle Colts and she split them and raced through on goal to slot home past a disconsolate keeper.
With the game over the manager started to ring the changes that would see the game a little more disjointed.
This however did not stop the Ladies going on and scoring two more goals before the ninety minutes was up.
Charlotte Abbott who replaced Natalie Crinean picked out Ashlee Hincks and she rounded a defender before hammering home her shot.
The Gills rounded off the scoring in the 70th minute, Whitney Judd who had nothing to do in defence all afternoon galloped down the right wing crossed the ball. Vicky Ashton-Jones beat her marker and slotted home her second goal of the game.
The Gills move into Round 3 of the Kent Cup with ease and face a trip to either Swanscombe Tigers or Ashford.
