Gills Ladies Reserve side are unbeaten still this season and a large part of that is down to the goals scored by striker Kylie Overton.
The centre forward has scored eleven times this season including two against opponents Aylesford at the weekend.
Talking about the emphatic win over their local rivals, she said: "I think everyone played impressively today and we all worked well as a team, our passing and movement off the ball worked well also."
Overton dropped down to the Reserve side after finding her chances limited in the first team thanks to the form of Ashlee Hincks and Natalie Crinean.
However since making the move to the Reserve team she has showed just what a quality striker she is herself, and she underlined that by scoring twice against Aylesford.
Giving her opinion on the two goals, she added: "I just got the two today, which is quite frustrating because I felt that I could have got more but still I am happy with the result and the performance from all the players."
The centre forward has an impressive goal scoring record and that is something that she is proud of this season.
She said: "Eleven goals this season isn't bad at all, I am just happy that I am getting regular games now that I am in the reserves.
"I think playing for the reserves has made me more confident as a player and hopefully people will see that I am trying to push myself in becoming a better player so that people can give me the opportunity to prove myself."
The reserve side remain unbeaten this season and moved to the top of the South East Combination Women's League Division One East following the demolition of Aylesford.
The number nine believes that they can remain unbeaten all season, she added: "I believe that this team can stay top of the league now because we play so well as a team and every player in our team has their own qualities about them which have made us unbeatable this season."
Kylie will be hoping to continue her impressive run of goal scoring form as the Reserves take on Deal at home next weekend.
