Mark Stimson and his troops make the long trip to Carlisle today for tomorrow's League One encounter and the Gills boss is hopeful that an elusive away win might be around the corner, "If you're going to win somewhere, it's always best to win somewhere like Carlisle because it'll be a fantastic trip back.
"If we can put the same performance in that we have had for the last three games, then I think we can get something. The last two games we've taken four points from six, that's a good tally, and if we can do that over the next two games, I'll be very pleased."
Stimson is likely to retain the three pronged attack that he used against Leyton Orient in midweek and stressed the importance of taking the game to Carlisle, "There is a good chance we will have three strikers, whoever they are, because we want to go there to win the game, ask their defenders questions and really go for it.
"It didn't work completely on Tuesday because we drew but we had a go and I think we had the better chances and after a fantastic start we just didn't capitalize on that. It wasn't that the boys weren't trying it was maybe just missing other chances that come around."
"Those three will play together again and they will just get used to each other. It is difficult, having three up there, rather than two sometimes, they get in each other's way.
"We're in a situation now where we need wins. Draws might not be enough so we need wins. Though obviously, if you don't get the win and you get the draw, that's better than zero points. We will be positive in what we do; we have players available now who can do that."
