Jepson Disappointed
Manager Ronnie Jepson gives us his reaction to the postponement of today's Coca-Cola League One match between Gillingham and Brentford at Priestfield.
Mr Kettle inspected the pitch, with Mick Doherty and Brentford's assistant manager Adrian Whitbread in attendance, and the decision to call the game off for the safety of the players was made at 10am.
Speaking to the Official website Jepson said: "I'm very disappointed, as we have worked hard on the training ground all week.
"The far sides of the pitch in the shadows are rock hard and unplayable.
"It's a real shame because we were looking forward to the match and a big crowd was expected.
"The atmosphere would have been good and that would have given us an opportunity to bounce back."
