TEAM NEWS - GILLINGHAM
Mark Stimson is likely to keep faith with the starting XI that earned a point from Saturday's 0-0 draw with Colchester United.
Curtis Weston (hip) should return to action this week but is more likely to return for the visit of Walsall, rather than be risked on Tuesday night.
Danny Jackman (shoulder) is expected to return to first team training this morning leaving Simon King (ankle ligaments) as the club's only major injury concern.
CURRENT FORM:
Hartlepool ran out 0-1 winners when the two sides met at krbs Priestfield in August, so Stimson's men will be keen to avenge that defeat. A first away win of the season would also give the Gills some welcome breathing space at the foot of the table. Saturday's draw moved Gillingham up two places in the League One table to 18th but only a point separates them from Oldham in 21st place.
SQUAD FROM:

TEAM NEWS - HARTLEPOOL UNITED
Striker James Brown netted the only goal of the game at Priestfield in August, he has been sidelined with a knee injury in recent weeks but is closing in on a return to action.
Full-back Peter Hartley is available for selection again, he sat out Saturday's trip to Bristol Rovers thereby completing the last game of a three match suspension.
CURRENT FORM:
Hartlepool are currently 14th in the League One table, but only three points separate them from the Gills in 18th place. Their home form has been a little erratic this season with five wins, three draws and five defeats coming at Victoria Park so far. After beating Oldham 2-1 at home on January 2nd, Pools have recorded three straight defeats to MK Dons (0-5), Charlton (1-2) and Bristol Rovers (0-2).
