Captain Barry Fuller will miss the trip to Cumbria after breaking his arm in Tuesday night's draw with Leyton Orient. The full-back is now in plaster and is likely to be replaced by Chris Palmer, with Danny Jackman taking the captain's armband.
The Gills other absentee is centre-half Simon King who is set to see a specialist again this week. The reigning Player of the Year is hoping to get the nod to step up his training regime.
