Stone Returns To Gills

Posted on: Thu 13 Mar 2008

Gillingham midfielder Craig Stone has returned to the KRBS Priestfield Stadium after a two-month loan spell with Brentford.

The 19 year-old made six apperances for the Bees in the eight weeks he was at Griffin Park and helped Brentford climb the Coca-Cola League Two table with four wins, one draw and one loss.

Gillingham Manager Mark Stimson is pleased with the experience and fitness Stone gained with the Bees: "Craig Stone has returned to the club after two months at Brentford.  He has got his fitness levels up a little bit now.  He hasn't played in all of Brentford's games but when he has played, he was decent.  It is good to have him back at the club."
