Gillingham Midfielder Nicky Southall today joined Ryman Premier League Dover Athletic on a one month loan.  The experienced midfielder is in his third spell with the Gills and was a key player in the team that clinched promotion to the Championship in 1999/2000.

This season he has found his first team opportunities hampered by back and hamstring injuries. He links up with fellow Gillingham legend Andy Hessenthaler who is player/manager at the Crabble Ground.

Nicky has been given permission to play in Dover's FA Cup first qualifying round tie with Tonbridge Angels.
