Gillingham captain Andrew Crofts has been named in John Toshack's Wales squad for the forthcoming World Cup Qualifying matches.

Andrew will be hoping to add to his 12 international caps when The Welsh play host to Liechtenstein at the Millennium Stadium on October 11th in World Cup Qualifying Group 4.

Four days later Wales face a daunting encounter against Germany at Moenchengladbach on Wednesday October 15th.

Crofts call up means that he will miss the Gills Johnstone's Paint Trophy Tie against Colchester on Tuesday October 7th and the home League encounter with Morecambe on Saturday October 11th.
