Gillingham's star striker Simeon Jackson collected his second cap yesterday as Canada overcame Guatemala 3-0 in their final warm up match ahead of this month's CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Although Jackson was unable to get on the score sheet, he played a significant role in the Canadians victory and was a real handful for the Guatemalan defence.

Indeed it was Simeon that was brought down in the penalty area by the visitors captain Gustavo Cabrera to allow Ali Gerba to claim his second and Canada's third goal of the game.

Jackson will be hoping to add to his international tally when Canada kick-off their Gold Cup campaign against Jamaica at the Home Depot Centre in Carson USA on July 3rd.

They continue their group A fixtures against El Savador in Colombus on July 7th before facing Costa Rica in Miama on July 10th.
