Young striker Andy Pugh has joined Blue Square South side Welling United on a one month loan deal.

This will be Pughy's second spell in Blue Square South this season after spending a month with the Wings rivals Dover Athletic earlier in the campaign.

Andy made three appearances, scoring on his debut at the Crabble and will be hoping to improve his first team chances at Priestfield with regular games for the Park View Road side.

He found the net in his latest reserve outing, opening the scoring in the recent 1-1 away draw with Crystal Palace and bagged a brace of goals in a 4-2 behind closed doors friendly win over Dagenham and Redbridge last week.

However, the Reserves only have one match throughout the whole of December so a switch to Welling will give the youngster much needed competitive action.
