Mark Stimson is likely to field a mixture of trialists and youth team players for this afternoon's Totesport.com Reserve clash with Crawley Town at the Broadfield Stadium, kick-off 2.00pm
The Reds gave Gillingham's second string a real test when the two sides met in a 2-2 draw at Beechings Cross earlier in the month. A stunning strike from Rashid Yussuff and a late penalty from James Walker cancelled out earlier goals from a lively Crawley outfit.
The hosts are expected to name a strong starting line-up which could include ex-Gills winger Barry Cogan.
Crawley Town are currently sixth in the Central Division after beating Brentford 1-0 yesterday, just two points separate them from Gillingham in fifth.
