Gills skipper, Chris Hope has joined England defender, Casey Stoney, to urge football fans to support England's Women when they take on Austria at the Priestfield Stadium next month.

Charlton Athletic lynchpin, Stoney, who coaches children in a number of schools in Kent, will be looking to carry on where she left off in England's last game, against France, by taking her place in Hope Powell's squad for the vital World Cup Qualifier on Thursday 20th April 2006, kick off 7.45pm.
Casey said: "We've had an excellent start to our qualifying campaign for next year's World Cup Finals having won three and drawn one of our first four matches, and I'm really looking forward to playing at Gillingham.Only one team from our group goes through, so we need to maintain our form against the Austrians to ensure we stay ahead of France and Holland who are chasing hard."
Gills skipper, Chris Hope, added: "It's great that England's women are coming to the Priestfield for the latest match in their quest to secure a place at the World Cup in China.I know from playing here for Gillingham that the fans always get behind us, so I hope they turn out in force to cheer Casey and the rest of the team to victory."
