Gillingham striker Darren Byfield has signed for Coca-Cola League One rivals Millwall on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old, who was out of contract at Priestfield, has signed for the Lions on a three-year deal.

The former Jamaican international striker made 70 appearances (13 as substitute) for the Gills and scored 20 goals.
