As Mark Stimson continues his preparations for the 2009/10 League One season Gillingham have announced a prestige away friendly against Championship side Crystal Palace.
The Gills will visit Selhurst Park on Sunday August 2nd, kick-off 2.00pm, both teams will field their full first teams squads.
Prices for the match have been set at £15.00 for adults and £5.00 for concessions. Tickets are currently on sale from the Ticket Office in Redfern Avenue.
The Gills most recent meetings with the Eagles were in the Championship in 2003/04 and both ended in 1-0 wins for the home side. Gillingham ran out winners at the Priestfield courtesy of a late David Perpetuini goal in October 2003 before Danny Butterfield gave Palace revenge at Selhurst Park in February 2004.
