Creative midfielder/forward Adam Miller was another player who followed Mark Stimson to Gillingham from Stevenage Borough in November 2007.  He made 28 appearances for the Gills last season scoring three goals but his performances were hampered by a hernia injury which required surgery in May 2008

Miller began his career as a trainee with Ipswich Town but failed to break into the first team.  He relaunched his career in non-league football with Canvey Island before moving on to Grays Athletic, Gravesend & Northfleet and Aldershot Town.

His form with the Shots earned him an international call up with the England C team and a transfer to Queens Park Rangers where he made his league debut against Nottingham Forest in December 2004. Miller left Loftus Road for Stevenage in 2006 where he became a key player for Mark Stimson's side.

Adam enjoyed another excellent 2008/09 season and was the club's third highest goal scorer netting six times in 40 league and cup appearances. A recurrance of last season's hernia problems brought a premature end to his season but he returned to fitness to join in the celebrations at Wembley.

Miller made an impressive start to 2009/10 season scoring Gillingham's third goal in the 5-0 defeat of Swindon Town. He has since joined Dagenham and Redbridge on loan.
