Gillingham FC to run Girls Only Soccer Schools during our summer programme
This Summer Gillingham’s Community Trust will be teaming up again with the Kent FA and FA Skills to offer TWO Girls Only Soccer Schools.Both will take place at our first team training ground in Gillingham.

Both days are free to attend and are open for girls aged between 5 and 16 years of age and run from 11am to 2pm.
Team Leader for the FA Skills, Pete Sayer said: “The previous days we have run have been extremely successful and we’ve seen a number of talented and enthusiastic girls on the courses.
"With the support of Gillingham FC and the KCFA we are continuing to promote and develop the female game at the most crucial younger age groups with an eye on growing the game in the future.”
Head of Community, Adam Lawrence added: “It’s great to team up with the Kent FA Skills Team as we are both working extremely hard to promote and offer female footballers opportunities in the game.
"As a club we have a very successful Centre of Excellence and we’ve seen a number of girls attend our Soccer Schools and go on to be selected for squads at the Centre.
"We are also developing a number of new initiatives for female footballers across the board with our Girls Academy starting this season and the partnership with Gillingham Ladies we are able to offer players of all ages fantastic opportunities in the game.
