Hoddle, considered to be one of the greatest midfielders the country has ever produced, is now a football pundit having enjoyed over 30 years in the game as a player, and then a manager/coach.

He began his career in the youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and made his professional debut in August 1975. He went on to make 377 league appearances, winning the FA Cup twice and the UEFA Cup in 1984.

Hoddle signed for Monaco from White Hart Lane in 1987 and spent four years at the club, winning the league title in 1988 before returning to England in 1991 to join Swindon Town. He successfully guided the club to the Premier League, beating Leicester City 4-3 at Wembley in the play-off final in 1993; Hoddle scored the first goal in that game.

Following promotion, Chelsea came calling for Hoddle and he took charge at Stamford Bridge in June of the same year. They reached the FA Cup Final in 1994 but lost to Manchester United.

In the summer of 1996 Glenn agreed to become the manager of the England national side and guided the team to the World Cup in 1998 and began the Euro 2000 qualifying campaign. Of his 28 games in charge, he won 17 and lost only five.

A few Gills legends will also be present (attendees to be confirmed), who will be performing a Q + A prior to Glenn's arrival on stage. During his interview Glenn will be recalling his time at Spurs as a player, his time abroad and his tenure as England manager and career thereafter.

Those who attend will receive a three-course meal, access to a private auction and the piano bar. Doors open at 6pm and carriages will be at 11.30pm approximately.

Tickets cost £60 + VAT per person (£55 + VAT for a season ticket holder) or £525 + VAT for a table of ten.

Dress code is smart casual.
