Looking to gain some experience in the world of camera operation and live reporting? If so, we might have the ideal roles for you.

Calling all media students! Gain some hands on experience with the Gills.

Gillingham Football Club currently has media opportunities available across a number of its different teams.



Gills Ladies, and the Girls Academy, are looking for enthusiastic videographers to join the team. 

The role would suit a current student who has access to own equipment and is looking to gain experience in camera operation and shooting live football matches. Access to own transport is desirable but not essential; availability on Wednesday (Girls Academy) and Sunday afternoons (Ladies first-team) for home fixtures is a necessity. 

Some light editing may be required.


Media Officer (Girls Academy)

The Girls Academy are looking for a Media Officer to take charge of their live Twitter feed during games, and to write match reports for the club's official website and match programme. 

Anyone interested will need to be available on Wednesday afternoons. Own transport is desirable. For more information contact Mel Tsangarides on 


Website Reporter (Gills Ladies)

Gillingham Ladies are looking for a Media Assistant/Website Reporter to attend all home fixtures (away travel possible) and write match reports for the Ladies website, main club website and match programme. Some social media work may also be required.
