Championship side to visit MEMS Priestfield
Gillingham will play Championship side Middlesbrough at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium in the second round of the Capital One Cup later this month.
The Gills overcame Bristol City 2-1 in their first round clash at Ashton Gate on Tuesday evening with Danny Kedwell and Ben Strevens getting the goals for the visitors.
Manager Martin Allen was delighted with the performance and will now be looking to book a place in the third round of the competition when the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United enter the draw.
All second round ties will be played the week commencing August 27.
