Team News –

So Far This Season…
Boro’ began the new campaign with a Capital One Cup victory at League One Bury on August 11 where Marvin Emnes and Emmanuel Ledesma were on target in a 2-1 victory at Gigg Lane. Middlesbrough, who had narrowly missed out on a play-off place last season - finishing seventh, started their Championship fixtures with a 1-0 defeat against Barnsley at Oakwell.

That was followed when they recorded their first win beating Burnley 3-2 in a see-saw battle at the Riverside Stadium thanks to three tremendous strikes by Nicky Bailey, Adam Reach and Luke Williams.

On Saturday they played Crystal Palace at home and made it back to back triumphs with a 2-1 win, Seb Hines and Merouane Zemmama securing the points with goals either side of half-time.
