He made 77 appearances in total for the Gills before rejoining QPR in November 1929.
The goalkeeper arrived at Priestfield from QPR in August 1927 having previously played 101 games for Leicester City.

Paul, a Scottish international, is now in his third spell at Scottish Premier League outfit Dunfermline.
The former Dundee United goalkeeper arrived on loan from Norwich City in December 2004, made his debut at Wigan and appeared in just two other games against Rotherham and Brighton.
