Patrick joined QPR in January 2008 and went on to score 16 times in 75 league games, he was also loaned out to Bristol City, Millwall and Stevenage where he ended last season  before being released by the R’s and is currently without a club.

He scored eight goals in 34 games for the Gills before a £350,000 deal took him to Preston ten months later.

The pacey striker cost the Gills £150,000 from Wimbledon in January 2004 and made his debut against Derby County at Pride Park.

He has since been involved in Soccer Schools both here in England and the U.S.A

John had previously played for Brighton & HA, Charlton Athletic, where he score 44 goals in 382 appearances, and Cardiff City.

He signed in October 2004 and made his debut as a substitute for Darren Byfield in a 3-1 home defeat inflicted by Sheffield United.

The Welsh international winger, capped 30 times, played just four games with the Gills before retiring from professional football.
