Gillingham’s 2012/13 matchday programme has won the Programme Monthly League Two Best Feature award for our weekly eight page souvenir programme reproductions.The feature was created as part of the celebrations to mark the 100 years since New Brompton FC changed its name to Gillingham Football Club, with each matchday magazine featuring classic programme content from a previous meeting with that day’s opposition.
Programme Monthly lavished praise on the feature saying, “You simply cannot beat this idea for a good use of the centre pages of an issue, which can’t fail to melt the heart of anyone with an interest in the phenomenon that is the matchday programme”
The Gills programme also claimed runners up place in the Best Overall League Two Programme category with Programme Monthly stating, “There are no two ways around it, Gillingham score highly and only narrowly miss out on top spot thanks to the sheer wealth and variety of good content in their issue”
