BIRTHS...

1981 - Jo Kuffour

The striker initially joined the Gills on loan from Bristol Rovers in September 2011 and made his debut as a substitute for Chris Whelpdale at AFC Wimbledon.

In January 2012 he signed a deal until the end of the season and went on to score a total of nine goals in 31 appearances.

Following his release at the end of the season he initially joined Wycombe Wanderers on a short-term deal before agreeing a two-year deal.


1988 - Lewis Montrose

The former Wigan Athletic and Wycombe Wanderers midfielder celebrates his 24th birthday today.

Having joined the Gills in the summer of 2011 he went on to score four goals, including one on his debut against Cheltenham Town, in 43 appearances last season.
