Our guide to what's coming up in tomorrow's match day magazine...
It's 100 years since New Brompton FC changed their name to Gillingham Football Club, and to celebrate out centenary this season’s programme is a celebration of the first 100 seasons of the Gills. For each home game we're producing a unique cover, putting a fresh spin on a classic issue from the Gills first hundred seasons.
We've only had three previous meetings with Burton Albion, and all of those were in the last five seasons, so for tomorrow's match we’re taking inspiration from the 60's so tomorrow’s cover is based on the design from the 1960/61 campaign. Inside you can turn to the centre pages for an eight page exclusive souvenir mini programme from that season.
The centenary celebrations continue inside with Chris Lynham’s memorable match covering our epic last day survival in 1969/70, while Richard Day looks back at Gillingham’s 1950/51 campaign, our first back in the Football League in The Good, The Bad & The Gills
Andrew Ford continues his series charting Gills performances against the Premiership, this week the spotlight is on North London giants Arsenal, and Nigel Clark explores the history of the Brewers home, the Pirelli Stadium.
Back to the present, we bring you the exclusive thoughts of Chairman Paul Scally and Gills Manager Martin Allen on last weekend's 4-0 demolition of Aldershot, Martin Weller interviews highly-rated youngster Bradley Dack, and full-back Joe Martin answers our quick fire questions in On The Spot.
All this and much, much more, all for just £3.00. The programme is on sale now, so pick up your copy at the GFC Megastore today, or from sellers all around the ground tomorrow.
