BIRTHS...
1986 - Jon Wallis
Born in Gravesend, Jon started his playing career at Chelsea playing for their under 12 side before signing scholarship forms with the Gills.
He progressed through the youth and reserve ranks and had a couple of spells at Hastings United on both work experience and loan deals before boss Neale Cooper gave him his first-team debut in the Football League Trophy tie with Crawley Town in October 2005.
After making 20 appearances in total for the Gills he signed for Hereford United in July 2006.
Loan spells at both Dover Athletic and Dagenham & Redbridge were followed by a permanent deal at the Crabble.
Jon won successive promotions with the Whites but then moved to Dartford in May 2011 where he continues to perform.
