Twydall go through after victory in previous home game..
Twydall Primary School and St Margaret’s CofE Junior School met in the second quarter-final of this year’s Half-time Shoot-out during Monday night’s game against Wycombe Wanderers. The players had seven seconds to score from the edge of the D and could chose to dribble and shoot or simply fire one at goal. The keepers were allowed to move off their line as soon as the whistle sounded and put the striker under pressure meaning that they both had to think and act fast.
On a cold Monday night Twydall Primary School and St Margaret’s CofE Junior School made their way from a day at school to entertain the Gillingham Faithful.
As the shoot-out progresses the quality on show gets better and better and this match up was no exception. With efforts from distance, some magic skills, Goalkeepers being quick off their lines, cartwheels and a gangnam style celebration this shoot out finished 5-3 to Twdyall Primary School who are the next team through to the semi-finals.
As usual we would like to thank both schools for taking part in the competition and good luck to Twydall Junior School in the semi-final.
Next up will beCanterbury Road Primary School and Lansdowne Primary Schoolwhen Gills take on Dagenham and Redbridge.
