BIRTHS...

1963 - Tony Parks

The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper came in on loan in September 1987 following an injury to Ron Hillyard and he made his debut in a 0-0 draw against Sunderland at home.

He returned to White Hart Lane following the next game in which the Gills beat York City 3-1.

Although never a regular with Spurs, where he is currently back as goalkeeping coach, he did play in the UEFA Cup Final against Anderlecht saving a decisive spot-kick in a penalty.

Tony spent time at a number of clubs but had his best spells with Brentford and Falkirk.

1982 - Justin Cochrane

The former QPR midfielder joined the Gills on loan from Crewe Alexandra in February 2006 and made his debut against Tranmere Rovers at Priestfield.

He made just five appearances for Gillingham, scoring once, before returning to Gresty Road.

After leaving Alex, Justin played for a number of league and non-league sides as well as Antigua Barracuda in the West Indies.

He has also made a dozen appearances for the Antigua and Barbuda national side.
