The Gills visit to Sixfields Stadium has been switched due to a fixture clash
We would like to advise supporters that Gillingham’s League One away fixture at Coventry City’s new Sixfields Stadium home has been switched from Saturday 14 September to Sunday 15 September, kick-off will remain at 3.00pm.With the 2013/14 fixture list having been published prior to the Football League approving Coventry’s ground share at the Stadium, the Gills match is one of a number of Sky Blues fixtures that clash with a scheduled home match for Northampton Town.
As the terms of Coventry’s ground share agreement stipulate that the Cobblers take priority in the instance of a fixture clash, we have no option but to move the fixture 24 hours back to Sunday 15 September.
Gillingham FC would like to apologise to our supporters for any inconvenience caused as a result of the date change.
