Live text service in operation for the visit of North American Soccer League team
It's not often that the Gills get to entertain American opposition at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, but that is exactly what will be happening this afternoon when the New York Cosmos arrive in town.The game was organised earlier in the week by Martin Allen following the cancellation of their proposed trip to Watford, and will feature a number of first team players as they step up their fitness levels ahead of the new season.
The fixture is being played behind closed doors and we apologise fans cannot be in attendance, but our `Cover it Live` service will keep you well up to date with developments against one of Pele's former clubs.
We will be getting underway at 3.45pm where you can access all of the team news as it reaches us prior to minute by minute live text updates.
