GILLS PLAN TO BEAT THE WEATHER

9 March 2013

Club to provide rain ponchos for supporters in the Brian Moore Stand

We’ve seen a deluge of rain in the Medway area over the past 24 hours but the Gills have taken every possible measure to beat the elements for today’s League Two clash with Plymouth Argyle.

As you can see from the pictures taken at 9.30am this morning all surface water has been cleared from the pitch at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

Current forecasts suggest that we have seen the last of the wet weather for today but the club would like to advise supporters with tickets in the Brian Moore Stand that we will be supplying disposable rain ponchos to keep you dry in the event that the rain makes an unexpected return.
