Martin talks to the media following Plymouth win
Martin Allen praised his players and the impact the supporters had following the Gills 2-1 win over Plymouth Argyle at MEMS Priestfield on Saturday afternoon.Speaking in his post match press conference he said:
“They made a lot of noise; well they make a lot of noise every week. They are full of energy and full of passion our supporters and it was nice for us to give them something back.
“We played great football moving the ball on the pitch, that was in possession. Out of possession we were tenacious, hungry and very competitive and the supporters loved it.
“I loved it – it was a pleasure to watch our players play and they deserved the credit at the end which they got from the supporters who stayed behind and they lifted the roof off didn’t they?
“We’ll have to get health and safety in because the noise levels this afternoon were incredible.”
