Dates agreed for two more pre-season games
Another two games have been added to the Gills pre-season friendly list with both games scheduled for Saturday June 29.The first will be against Ryman League Division One South play-off finalists Faversham Town at the Shepherd Neame Stadium with a 1.00pm kick-off.
Two hours later the opposition will be Kent Invicta League Ashford United at Homelands.
The Gills have played both in recent seasons, on July 6 2011 the Gills beat United 3-0 thanks to goals from Luke Rooney, Lewis Montrose and Dennis Oli in their inaugural fixture.
Later that summer a young Gills XI fought out a goalless draw against Town at Salters Lane and 12 months earlier Nicky Southall was on target in a 1-0 win.
The two sides had also met the previous two seasons, recording a 5-0 win in 2009 and 8-0 the summer before where Simeon Jackson was amongst the scorers with a second-half hat-trick.
