GILLS SUPPORT STOPTOBER

GFC Gems help promote A Better Medway's Stoptober campaign.

Medway Council’s Stop Smoking Service visited Gillingham High Street last Saturday and Parkwood Shopping Precinct today to let shoppers know about this year’s exciting Stoptober campaign, and Gillingham Football Club’s GFC Gems were there to lend a helping hand.

Stoptober is a national campaign that invites people who smoke to pledge to quit for the month of October. Evidence has shown that if a person can quit for 28 days, they are more likely to be able to quit for good in the long term.

If you would like more information about Stoptober the A Better Medway team will be at MEMS Priestfield Stadium this Saturday, when the Gills take on Bradford City in skyBET League1, or why not take a look at A Better Medway’s short Stoptober film
