The Take Heart team have arrived in Sri Lanka for Mercy Mission 2013
Take Heart Mercy Mission 2013 has begun with the team from the world renowned Evelina Children’s Hospital arriving in Galle, Sri Lanka on Thursday, ahead of their ten day mission to help children with life threatening heart conditions.To date the Take Heart team have treated over 100 children in the ten years since they began visiting Sri Lanka, and the real work on this year’s mission began on Friday with a full day of patient assessments at the Karapitaya Children’s Hospital.
Everyone at Take Heart Mercy Mission would like to thank all the Gillingham supporters and fundraisers whose kindness and generosity helped to make this year’s Mission a reality.
