Speaking after the game he said: “I’m delighted for Craig because he has been playing out of position ever since he has been here and he’s never really played up front alongside a striker, which is what he is known for.
“He has played wide right in a three and wide right in a four and he just gets on with it. His record of times he has started where we then get a draw or a win is terrific.
“There aren’t many times he has started and we have got beat so I don’t think people realise what he does for the team and to get the goal was terrific - I’m really pleased for him.”
