One lucky Gillingham FC fan will have the chance to join the players courtesy of Johnstone's Paint Pot Challenge
Supporters of Gillingham Football Club will be given a unique opportunity to join the club’s players for a footballing challenge – thanks to Johnstone’s Paint.The popular Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge – run in conjunction with the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy - has returned for an exciting third season, with Sky Bet League 1 outfit Gillingham the sixth club to take part.
The Gills are still dreaming of a Wembley appearance in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy having set up a mouth-watering Southern Area Semi-Final against Leyton Orient with a 2-1 win over Crawley Town in the previous round.
And one lucky Gillingham fan will have the opportunity to join the 10 players and management staff selected for the challenge as the club’s ‘11th man’ for the ultimate test of accuracy.

The Paint Pot Challenge sees entrants try to chip the ball from the angle of the penalty area into a giant inflatable paint pot placed on the six yard line.
A successful chip in is worth 10 points while one point is accumulated each time the paint pot is hit.
Oxford United and Fleetwood Town have been the Paint Pot Challenge victors over the last two seasons, and Gillingham will be joined by nine other clubs attempting to emulate the previous champions in 2014-15.
The successful club will claim Johnstone’s Paint products to use on a re-decoration project on one of their facilities. Barnsley currently lead the way with an impressive 26 points.
