Dominic Samuel to remain on loan from Reading FC.
The 21-year old striker has signed a loan extension until the 2nd January 2016.
Samuel got his loan spell off to a fantastic start scoring on his debut against Bury and has played a pivotal role up front for Gillingham.
Manager Justin Edinburgh said: “We are delighted to retain Dominic’s services. He has given us that focal point up front and allows Cody and Rory to play off him. We are pleased Reading have allowed him to stay.”
“With the busy period we have got and the form we are in and he is in, it is fantastic to be able to extend his stay at the club.”
The Gills Manager believes there is even more to come from Samuel who is finding his stride within the starting eleven.
“We know we can get more out of him; he knows that too. He’s getting better and better with each game and we expect that to continue.”
