Team News:

Justin Edinburgh has no fresh injury or suspension concerns ahead of Rochdale’s visit to MEMS Priestfield Stadium with Luke Norris (ankle) out of action for at least another four or five weeks.

As for Rochdale Matty Lund (thigh) and Jamie Allen (dead leg) may feature after injury lay-offs with Joe Rafferty (stomach) and Reuben Noble-Lazarus (shoulder) doubtful.

Management Comments:

Justin Edinburgh – “We come home again and look to bounce back, more times than not we have been able to do that this year in the league home or away and we look to do that against another good team in Rochdale who will provide a challenge and be strong opposition.”

Keith Hill – "We haven't got the resources of some clubs in the division but I'm not going to bellyache about that. It's a case of compensating by coming up with the right plan and the right tactics and picking a team to combat the opposition.”

Previous Meetings:

The clubs last met at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in April when Gillingham sealed a 1-0 win against Dale who were reduced to nine men in the second half when both Jamie Jones and Matty Lund were sent off.

Bradley Dack had struck on 14 minutes which proved enough to clinch maximum points.

In total the teams have met on 40 occasions – Rochdale edge the head to head statistics with 13 wins to 12. The other 15 matches have been a draw.

Betting:

Gillingham Win – 11/10
Draw – 5/2
Rochdale Win – 12/5
