Management Comments:

Teddy Sheringham – “This is a game which we know we’ve got to be up for. We need to be attacking the game and we need to be at our best to get anything out of it.”

Justin Edinburgh – “What I expect is a response from the group, it’s a competition that started back in August and it’s special for players and fans.

“We will respect the opposition and they will be dangerous because they, like us, would have been hurting from the weekend. We will go there looking to put on a performance which will help us get through to the next round.”

Previous Meetings:

The clubs last met last in the JPT last season when a Luke Norris penalty gave the Gills a 1-0 win at the Lamex Stadium.

In total the teams have only met five times – the Gills have won three games, Stevenage have won once with the other fixture ending in a draw.

Betting:

Stevenage Win -3/1
Draw – 13/5
Gillingham Win – 17/20

Special Bet: Brennan Dickenson to score first in a 3-1 Gillingham win - 65/1.
