First-team squad give out Christmas presents to young patients

Gillingham FC's first-team squad visited Medway Maritime Hospital's children's ward on Monday afternoon to provide festive cheer to sick youngsters.

Alongside assistant manager David Kerslake and coach Wayne Hatswell, the players handed out Christmas presents to children ranging from three to 15 years old.

Now an annual event, the first team met with patients' families and hospital nurses, and ended the visit by singing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" to all.
