Important information for Gills supporters travelling to Friday's game at The Den
Gills fans attending Friday's away Sky Bet League One fixture against Millwall should note that we have today been advised that a normal National Rail train service to and from South Bermondsey, the nearest station to The Den, is not guaranteed.
We are therefore urging supporters attending this match to seek alternative travel routes.
Alternative transport includes local buses or train services from Bermondsey Underground station (1.2 miles away), Surrey Quays London Overground station (0.8 miles) and both New Cross and New Cross Gate (1.2 miles away).
The P12 bus runs from Surrey Quays to The Den (stop: Millwall Football Club), while the 1 and 381 buses run from Waterloo and Surrey Quays respectively (stop: Rotherhite New Road/South Bermondsey station) and are in service 24 hours a day.
